Parquetry is essentially a geometric mosaic of wood pieces used for decorative effect with two main uses as veneer patterns and block patterns for flooring.

This style of flooring is usually long lasting and requires little or no maintenance. And cleaning? Consider it a standard wood floor that may be brushed clean and mopped when necessary.
